COVID-19 TESTING AND VACCINATION SERVICES

Ash Way Park & Ride

Snohomish Health District is offering drive-thru testing and vaccination services at the Ash Way Park & Ride, 16327 Ash Way, Lynnwood. Appointments will be required.

**Please note:  we are able to provide 1st, 2nd and booster doses for ages 12+ (parent or guardian must be onsite for ages 12-17), and third shots for those who qualify. Please bring proof of prior vaccination (vaccination card or www.myIR.net record).

Vaccination for Children ages 5-11

Given concerns for patient safety, the Ash Way site will not be offering vaccines for those under 12 at this time. Please speak to your child's healthcare provider or check with a local pharmacy about scheduling an appointment for vaccination.  We will update this site when further information is available.

BOOSTER ELIGIBILITY

Booster doses of Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine are now approved for anyone ages 12 and older. Pfizer-BioNTech booster vaccines can be given as follows:

  • five months after the second Pfizer vaccine
  • six months after the second Moderna vaccine
  • two months after J&J vaccine

Pfizer and J&J’s boosters are both full doses, while Moderna’s booster is a half dose. Eligible individuals may choose which vaccine they receive as a booster dose. According to the FDA and CDC, studies found “mixing and matching” boosters is safe and effective. This means your booster shot does not have to be the same COVID-19 vaccine type your primary vaccination was. For example, someone who received the J&J vaccine can receive a booster dose of J&J, Pfizer, or Moderna. Likewise, someone who received two doses of an mRNA vaccine (Moderna or Pfizer) can receive a Moderna, Pfizer, or J&J booster. People should talk with their healthcare provider if they have questions on which vaccine is best for them.
