COVID-19 Child Care Reporting

Thank you for your continued efforts to keep our county's child cares open and healthy.  This is a reminder that...

State guidance requires that early learning and school-age programs notify the Snohomish Health District of positive cases, outbreaks, and suspected outbreaks at their facility.
This includes cases identified using home tests.

To report a case, please call the COVID reporting line
at 425-339-5278
.

To determine when a child should be excluded from care or when they can return, please see this flowchart:

Let families know that COVID home tests are still available free through the mail by going to https://sayyescovidhometest.org/ or they can contact their insurance directly. Many pharmacies in Washington State can assist by either providing insurance paperwork or billing insurance directly.

Guidance for the general public on masks and self-testing were recently updated by Washington State Department of Health. Continue to watch community COVID levels and follow the recommendations.

If you have any other health and safety questions, you can reach the Child Care Health Outreach Program at
425-252-5415 or by email at childcarehealth@snohd.org.
