We are simulating that a 6.1 earthquake has occurred on the South Whidbey Island Fault, impacting Snohomish and surrounding counties earlier this morning. Electricity, phones and internet are currently working. Some roads are closed due to potential damage -- Highway 2 trestle, and Highway 529 between North Everett and Marysville.
