Snohomish County to Unveil New “Health on Wheels” Van
The County Executive and Director of the Snohomish County Health Department will make remarks as the van is officially launched as a part of the Snohomish County Health Department’s community outreach work. This will be happening during National Public Health Week, which takes place April 7-13, 2025.
WHAT:
Snohomish County is proud to announce the launch of its new Health on Wheels Van, a mobile public health unit designed to bring essential services directly to residents across the county. This new resource will expand the reach of preventive care and health education—meeting people where they are, especially in underserved communities.

WHY:
At a time when public health funding is under pressure nationwide, Snohomish County is focused on tools that expand access, equity, and community wellness. The Health on Wheels Van will serve as a mobile clinic and outreach hub—delivering services such as immunizations, health screenings, harm reduction, and health education across the county.
