Community Equity Advisory Board (CEAB)

What is the CEAB?

Established in 2020, the CEAB shall work to ensure leading and promoting a culture of inclusion and belonging in public health to ensure public health is for all residents.

Our Collective Why Statement:

We are united to support and protect the health and well-being of every person, and the communities we serve in Snohomish County by amplifying their voices and eradicating harm.  We/I are/am accountable and responsible to work with our community to build equitable health systems and provide access for all. We/I will do this by listening, honoring, and respecting lived experiences and cultural wealth, cultivating resilient generations who can thrive authentically in our community, centered on our individual and collective human experience.

MEMBERS

The Community Equity Advisory Board is composed of county residents and community partners representing different racial and/or ethnic backgrounds, identities, abilities, and perspectives who have lived experience of racial or ethnic inequality, are interested in public health, and want to impact individual, institutional, and systemic change
