Newsletters
Quarterly newsletters are sent by email to all certified OSS contractors in Snohomish County. These newsletters aim to provide consistent communication between the Health Department and contractors about policy changes, updates, reminders, and other relevant information. Please remember to set your spam blocker to allow mail from "listserv@civicplus.com".
If you do not have an email on file with the Health Department or would like to make sure you are on the mailing list, click the subscribe button below. Those without an email listed or who do not provide an email will be sent the newsletter by mail.

Septic community of professional Experts (SCOPE)
SCOPE meetings are an opportunity for on-site sewage system professionals to stay connected. All OSS professionals who work in Snohomish County are welcome and encouraged to attend. These meetings provide an opportunity for OSS professionals to:
- Learn about and share feedback on upcoming changes to the Snohomish County Board of Health Code
- Ask questions about OSS permitting and other requirements
- Stay up to date and connected to OSS-related news
- Discuss challenges in the OSS field and possible solutions
How can I attend meetings?
Meetings will be hosted quarterly, online via Zoom. Please note that if you plan to join the meeting from a mobile device, you will need to download the free Zoom app (this is not necessary if you will be joining from a computer or laptop). Links to attend upcoming meetings will be sent to all OSS professionals in the quarterly newsletters.
